MEET THE TEAM

Murray is the founder and Managing Director of Trivia Central.

Murray started Trivia Central in 2000, his first venue being Enfield RSL Club. This came by accident, when he volunteered to help out for a couple of weeks, and the rest is history!

Murray's purpose is to host entertaining and informative trivia events, in a fun and safe environment and to ensure patrons enjoy themselves and want to come back again and again.

Formerly a Sales Rep with Sky Sports Radio, Murray spent a lot of his time selling radio advertising to clubs and hotels through the famous 2KY Travelling Roadshows with Order of Australia medalist, Donnie Sutherland. Not surprisingly, he credits Donnie as one of his strongest influences, along with late comedian Benny Hill and former Brisbane DJ from the 1970's, Bruce "Wacker" McCartney in presenting great trivia events seven nights a week.

Murray is married to Helen with two adult children and is a very proud grandfather to Fred.  He is passionate about cricket, horse racing and rugby league, and he is a loyal Queensland supporter at just about every sport, despite living in Sydney for over 30 years.

Luke is the youngest member of Trivia Central. Luke joined the team in 2014 after being a loyal patron of Trivia Central for a few years. Impressing Murray with his confidence and professionalism, Murray asked the question "do you want to work for me?" and Luke happily obliged.

Luke is an Australian actor, musician and presenter who is on his way to cementing his mark on the industry in Australia and abroad. He has had starring roles in Home and Away, All Saints and Wild Boys on the Seven Network, and in Modern Family on ABC America and Network Ten. He had a supporting role in the 20th Century Fox film, The Wolverine alongside Hugh Jackman and was able to bring truth to the challenging and complex leading role of GB in the award winning Australian feature film, Circle of Lies.

A career pinnacle for Luke was touring the country in the musical comedy Van Park, playing the on stage son of Australian 70's pop superstar and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee, John Paul Young.

While he might appear young, Luke is accomplished and adept. He fits in well with any crowd, and really makes the show his own.
